Druidism, Secret Life of Elves & Fairies, Book of Elven-Faerie

Saturday, January 28th, 2012

“Prior information concerning the transition of beings between worlds have mainly focused on the moments when the Otherworld beings will come to inhabit the surface world of Men. The story of Robert Kirk is amazing because it chronicles a man who went into the Otherworld, became an initiate of the Elven-Ffayrie Tradition and returned able to share it. We are not referring to anything like the use of guided meditation or other “New Age” concepts – Reverend Robert Kirk was able to physically access the Otherworld like no other mortal in recently recorded history. What’s more, he was able to gain access on repeated occasions, not simply by happenstance or coincidence. He was even allowed to keep a journal and sketch-diary of his adventures and accounts. The legacy of Robert Kirk’s life and work is so monumental for the modern pursuits and studies of the Elven-Ffayrie that I am often wary of resources that make no mention of these accounts, even in passing.” (Excerpted from the Book of Elven-Faerie by Joshua Free)

“Elemental or mortal transitions, as well as contact with any type of “nature spirits” requires appropriate conditions or circumstances as well as the ability to direct or channel large amounts of energy. During appropriate times, Kirk was able to return to the same ‘Faerie Howe,’ or hollow hill and gain entrance at will. I make mention of these things to entice you, for the story of Rev. Robert Kirk truly should begin, well, at the beginning…” (Liber-D)

[The Book of Elven-Faerie: Secrets of the Druids is perhaps the very genesis of the modern 'mardukite' movement, privately released by prolific writer, Joshua Free, in 2006. Within these pages you will follow the ancient traditions of Mesopotamia (Sumerian, Babylonian) as they evolve into the mystical, mythical and societal systems of Western Europe.]

“Robert Kirk was born in the year 1644, the seventh son of an Episcopalian minister. Kirk later became a minister himself, in his home parish of Aberfoyle (Perthshire, Scotland.) While a devout Christian, Kirk was actually interested and influenced by Faerie-lore his entire life, though he was unable to accept “magick.” He did, however, see the importance in preserving the magickal and ancient Gaelic-Welsh language, and oversaw a Gaelic translation of the Holy Bible, personally translating the Psalms and Proverbs. Kirk’s missionary work was like the Bardic Culdee of the past who preserved the Celtic and Drwyd symbolism in the Book of Kells, an “illuminated” manuscript of the Four Gospels in the Gaelic language.” (Book of Elven-Faerie)

“It is clear (to the present author at least) that Robert Kirk was never really intending on becoming a monumental “New Age” figure or advocate for the “occult” and ‘mystery traditions’ of the fey. In his writing, however, he does display at least a familiarity with archaic Hermetic-Gnostic and Rosicrucian doctrine, and makes references to such in “The Secret Commonwealth of Elves, Fauns and Faeries.” The nature of Kirk’s personal research is unclear, but it is likely that he would have had access to obscure manuscripts as an esteemed member of the Clergy. With a strict religious upbringing, he would have been reluctant to delve into metaphysical matters, and it comes as no surprise that his ‘pagan’ interests were a concern to his father.” (Liber-D)

[In Book of Elven-Faerie by Joshua Free discover how the most arcane practices actually shaped the beliefs of the western world and learn how mystical lineages of modern "folk magic" can be actually traced through the evolution of human civilization on the planet - all the way back to the ancient Anunnaki and becoming the practices of the Tuatha de Dannan (Tuatha d'Anu) and other Celtic Druid tribes.]

“The infamous “Faerie Howe” where Robert Kirk’s body was eventually found, was a place that he had visited frequently throughout his life. One day, Kirk actually discovered, or rather was revealed, the entrance to the “Faerieland Otherworld.” By means of a special knock at the right times of month and day, Kirk would be granted repeated access to the alternate dimension. In his published accounts, except for the recently released “Secret Lives of Elves and Faerie,” his private journals, he does not always speak of these matters concerning the Otherworld in first person. He prefers instead to attribute these reports to those seers he has interviewed as part of the research. His work was based on journals from 1688-1692 implying four years of practical “Otherworld Initiation” to compliment his research in folklore.” (From the Book of Elven-Faerie: Secrets of the Druids by Joshua Free)

““The Secret Commonwealth of Elves” was never published in its complete state, and was never in print at all during Robert Kirk’s lifetime. Some scholars believe that any first person references concerning mysticism, the Otherworld Tradition and the Elven-Ffayrie encounters themselves, were replaced as “accounts from seers” or edited out of the manuscript altogether before eventually being published into a Christian society as authored by a Christian minister. In spite of this, Kirk emphasizes and insists that there is no real conflict found between his own religious beliefs and what he comes to learn and experience concerning the Elven- Ffayrie. The only real contradiction emerges in the minds of Fundamentalist Christians who see these beings as demons and devils. Kirk even goes as far as to say that he feels that it is his mission to clarify the misconceptions concerning the fey among his Christian brethren.” (Liber-D)

[Ever popular in the underground, Book of Elven-Faerie includes the complete 'Druids of the Necronomicon' discourse with its corresponding "Grimoires" of Elven-Faerie and forest magick traditions, bringing a complete Elvish Tradition to the light of the mortal world for the first time in printed history.]

“It may very well be that the Antiquarian writers of Robert Kirk’s time period, continuing with the Brothers’ Grimm, John Aubrey and Iolo Morganwg (to mention a few) all felt that there was a part of folklore and the Faerie Tradition hidden within, that was quickly disappearing from contemporary society. More modern reconstructionists like myself, Andrew Lang, R.J. Stewart and John Matthews have felt the same in the sense that the Elven-Faerie Tradition, as well as the legacy and involvement of Robert Kirk as part of the tradition, must be preserved without fail.” (Book of Elven-Faerie)

“After a disturbing encounter in Faerieland concerning a chance episode with a solitary Dark Elf, Robert Kirk took it upon himself to seek out the city of the Unseelie Court and attempt to apologize for the rise in tension resulting from his appearance in the Otherworld. Apparently, he had not yet realized that by actually setting foot on the ground of the Dark Elves, he was in violation of the most severe of Unseelie laws. The Unseelie Court sentenced him to death, but the Seelie Court intervened and decided instead that Kirk should remain forever “prisoner” in the Otherworld. This permanent transition would still leave his physical body dead in the Middle World. He is allowed one night to set his affairs in order in the ‘Lands Above’ in good faith, of which he leaves his journals behind for his son, then returns for his sentence.” (Liber-D)

“Some time after Kirk’s death, he appears to a relative and claims that he will again appear at the Christening of her daughter. At that time, her husband is to throw a dagger at the apparition and if so, then the enchantment of the Faerieland would be broken and he could return to the Middle World. When the Christening came and Kirk appeared, those present were so astounded that they did not move to throw a dagger and so Kirk remained in the Otherworld. Years after, another attempt is made toward the family that resided in Kirk’s house at the time. They are informed by a vision of him to baptize their child in that room and stab a dagger in the seat of the chair where Kirk sat to write. If they did this, then he would be free again. Again, this is not tried and Robert Kirk is never freed, showing again that many folk still live in a dark age of ignorance where they cannot even come to conceive of that which they are forced to behold. Perhaps the Otherworld simply was indeed Kirk’s fate.”

[Book of Elven-Faerie actually restores the historical basis of the modern "New Age" movements resulting from one Seeker's pursuits into the origins of the "Druids.]

DRACONOMICON: An Overview of Dragons & Pheryllt Magick by Joshua Free

DRACONOMICON
The Magick & Traditions of Dragon Kings, Druids and the Pheryllt

The ultimateBook of the Dragon” for magick-users and fantasy enthusiasts alike. This completely revised and expanded 15th Anniversary edition of the underground cult classic “Draconomicon” offers powerful ageless teachings and lore of ‘dragon magick‘ and its legacy on earth and in the cosmos!

“The word “Dragon” comes from the Greek word “drakon” and is mirrored in the Latin “draconis” and the Celtic “draig”. In the motion picture “Dragonheart,” the main character is named “Draco” after the constellation of stars which at one time dominated the northern sky (now replaced by the Great Bear).” (Draconomicon)

“In the Babylonian Epic of Creation (discussed extensively in the Mardukite “Necronomicon” Cycle) we are informed of an ancient dragon first appeared named TIAMAT – and after much quarreling “in the family”, MARDUK, thought to be TIAMAT’s son, killed her. MARDUK then reigned as supreme ruler of the Universe and used half of her body to form the earth and the other half for the sky.” (Draconomicon)

“This actually coincides with the beliefs of most “dragon traditions”, particularly in the concept of the earth planet being the “body” of the primordial dragon. In Greek accounts we are told of seven-headed dragons named “Hydras” as well as races of Ladons, Typhons and the notorious Titans (note that “Titania” is also the classical name given to the “Faerie Queen of Elves”). With the rise of Christianity came the demonization of the sacred image of the Dragon – and their own sainted personas (e.g. George and Michael) became the slayers of the same.” (Draconomicon)

What is the Dragon really ???

“This is a difficult and confusing subject to some since there would appear to be no living examples of the classical dragon existing in society today. There is a very real draconic energy present on this planet, it just does not always manifest in the manner that we might assume a dragon to be. In fact, the ancient Druids viewed the entire natural system of the earth as “the dragon” and the magnetic lines that run across the surface even denoted as dragon lines.” (Draconomicon)

“There also appears to be a significantly higher form of draconic energy present at specific locales, particularly places like Stonehenge and so forth, places where the naturally occurring energies were actually recognized and harnessed by the use of constructing specific monuments designed to literally divert, tap and/or redirect these currents of energy. Such concepts have continued to baffle historians and archaeologists as to the why.” (Draconomicon)

Discovering the wisdom & power of the dragon has never been easier. Come and initiate yourself to the Great Mysteries and venture on a journey beginning in the primordial depths of the primeval abyss of the “Great Universal Dragon” and following through millennium of ageless mysteries into the present age… and the future!

Whether looking to incorporate the “dragon” into your personal spiritual or magickal tradition or even simply as a unique and remarkable treasury of esoteric knowledge as revealed by a leading member of the occult underground, Joshua Free, the Draconomicon is the perfect addition to your literary collection and everyday life.

New Camelot; New Babylon | Deepteachings of Merlyn & Danubian Arthurian Tradition

Wednesday, December 7th, 2011

Prior to the founding of the Mardukite Chamberlains in 2008 and the Year-1 work of 2009, the organization was founded on a meta-volume of ‘arcane mysteries’ known as “Arcanum” (now available as the “Arcanum Epica” trilogy or in the anthology: A Complete Course Curriculum in Magick), now classified internally as Liber-A. Another pre-Mardukite volume used as the basis for the organization’s inception, Liber-D, also known as the Book of Elven-Faerie, incorporated some of the same themes, leading the original members of the organization in the same direction — toward Mesopotamia. Of course, the archives and annals of the Mardukite Research Organization are far from restrictive of just one facet of history, as the following excerpt from Arcanum Epica I, should relay.

Over the years, the “Arthurian Tradition” has come to encompass a wide sweeping array of thought from a philosophical and spiritual school of metaphysics originating in Wales/Britain, in which practitioners apply the saga of King Arthur and the plethora of related archetypal symbolism within this myth to daily magickal living. Though often incorporated into neodruidism, this is not exclusively so. The pre-wiccan modern guru of witchcraft, Dion Fortune, Ceremonialist Gareth Knight and various other members of the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn (GD) and the Stella Matutina (SM) became enthralled by the potential of the Arthurian Tradition and the Merlyn-current in the early 1900s. This appears to have primarily remained confined to British practices until the American release of Gareth Knight’s “Secret Tradition in Arthurian Legend” (1983) shortly following the appearance of the motion picture phenomenon, “Excalibur” (1982). R.J. Stewart continued the formal analysis of the Merlyn-current in the mid-1980s.

The quest to uncover the historical Arthur has been a challenge since the beginning. At present, the debate is not so much a matter of whether or not a historical “dux bellorum” (not “king,” but “war leader”) existed, but as to the specifics of the entity we commonly refer to. The same exists for the Merlyn character, a word that may have correlated to a designation or title used several times in history, rather than as a proper name. (from Arcanum Epica I)

Some factions of neodruidism teach that the mythic cycle of Arthur originates with the ancient Tuatha d’Anu race of Elves and faerie folk. This was then symbolically applied to the deeds of a 5th-6th Century character that was associated with the legacy of the Dragon Kings. He helped to restore or unite Britain after the fall of Rome and the departure of Roman soldiers. At that time, the Druid age had ended (due to that same Roman influence) and the land was left seemingly unprotected. Arthur then rallied an army represented by all of the realms unified under his “pendragon” banner in order to defend the integrity of Britain against the Saxons and temporarily returned the power of the Druids.

"Draconomicon" 15th Anniversary Edition

The name Arturos Pendragon, as he is generally known, identifies him with two significant symbols: the bear (“art”) and the dragon. Curiously, both these beasts correlate to very specific northern star constellations, perhaps the most significant ones found in ancient wizardry. Draco once ruled as the northern polar constellation until a shift in the alignment of the Earth Planet forced Ursa Major (the “Great Bear”) to become the revolving constellation. Other lore alludes to a connection to the polar forces of the dragon and the unicorn.

The quest for the “Holy Grail” (chalice) is not the only symbol that links the Arthurian Tradition to Gnostic-Christianity. The twelve Knights of the Round Table resemble the Twelve Disciples of Jesus Christ (and also the zodiac). In fact, some unusual correlations appear in the legendary existences of Jesus, Arthur and Merlyn. All three are legendarily “fathered” by metaphysics. All three are prophetic figures that remain “hidden” until puberty and whose public or apparent demise is always the result of some intimate prophetic betrayal. In the bedtime version of the tradition, the Holy Grail is the “Cup of Destiny,” used at the Last Supper of the biblical life of Jesus. In the Edaphic Tradition the physical grail is the Cauldron of the Dagda, just as the “Spear of Destiny” correlates with the Spear of Lugh. (from A Complete Course Curriculum in Magick)

"Book of Elven-Faere"

The true relics and mysteries of the Gnostics later became the symbolic focus for the medieval secret societies, including the items mentioned above and the “Shroud of Turin.” Practitioners of the Arthurian Tradition typically survey Dragon Magick, Elven Magick and Druidism. Douglas Monroe, the controversial neo-Pheryllt reconstructionist, used the Arthurian cycle as a methodology and framework to relay his own metaphysical system. [Famed mystic Deepak Chopra did something similar in “The Way of the Wizard” (1995).] Ironically, the Charm of Making he is believed to alone have adopted from “Excalibur” for “The 21 Lessons of Merlyn” (1992) was recorded in 1986 by Geoff Hughes, another reconstructionist, as the means of calling forth the Dragon-Merlyn current or ray. [And again by author Rhiannon Ryall] This is documented in “Ancient Magicks for a New Age” (1989).

The locations found in Arthurian lore correspond to actual locations in Britain. The alleged birth at Tintagel can be found in the dramatic ruins of a stronghold in Cornwall. The famous Avalon once rested at the top of Glastonbury Tor, where now stands the oldest Christian church, founded by Joseph of Arimathea. The mound was once surrounded by water, making it an “island,” and hence the “Isle of Avalon.” Finally, the name “Camelot” is a direct reference to the River Cam. The modern location that was once Camelot is called Cadbury, positioned near the River Cam at approximately equal distances from both Avalon and Stonehenge.

Anunnaki, Sumerian Religion & Ancient Aliens (Astronaut) Theory with Joshua Free PART I

Tuesday, November 22nd, 2011

This is a transcription of the live interview with Joshua Free conducted on Paranormal Palace Radio as hosted by Royce Holleman on November 15, 2011.

Anunnaki, Sumerian Religion & Ancient Aliens (Astronaut) Theory
with Joshua Free
PART I

(00:30)

Royce Holleman: Joining me today is going to be Joshua Free, and we’re going to be talking about the “Ancient Alien Theory” and the Anunnaki. He’s written some thirty-or-so books covering different parts of the “Ancient Astronaut” work that he’s done over the years. I told him today, I thought we could talk about the ‘religious’ and ‘spiritual’ aspects of the “Ancient Aliens Theory” and the religions that they brought to us and what we might have learned from them in a spiritual context, if anything. So, here I will introduce Joshua and I thought we’d break the ice by having you tell us about your first interests and how long you’ve been pursuing the “Ancient Astronaut” work.

(02:00)

Joshua Free: Well, I guess the more believable end of that, or for the sake of to-night; I grew up in the 1980′s – I’m almost thirty years old – enamored by a lot of media and culture at that time. I was constantly absorbing, for example, the Dark Crystal, the Labyrinth and all these mystical kinds of elements, and that’s what I remember from childhood.

I was raised Catholic, and so there was a lot of religious indoctrination as well, and spirituality, and that kind of thinking outside of the box. I went to Catholic school, was an altar boy – I actually considered going into the priesthood very seriously. As I was coming of age – about twelve or thirteen years old – a lot of things I was looking at and exploring more deeply was pointing me in other directions and things outside of what I was raised into. And of course, in that kind of a paradigm, its almost taboo or forbidden to ask any questions or look outside from what you’ve been given.

I ended up getting involved with the ‘other side’ of things – I went in the other direction – into the New Age, metaphysics and such. I didn’t feel that I had lost my spirituality but I felt that in our world there was a greater understanding to be had and that there was more than what I was being given.

(04:00)

I was officially involved with the New Age and the occult when I was twelve years old and was originally initiated into a Druid organization. Even in that, I was exposed to a lot more than what I would call a specifically “celtic” paradigm and the ‘mythological’ methodology of looking at life. Essentially more than we are given in the modern Judeo-Christian method of looking at this. More than just Druidism by itself, there was something else underlying this and what all ancient cultures reflect that pointed to something else. All of the ancient traditions were focused on a “Sky God Religion” – if we can call it that. They all adopted this belief that the ‘gods’ were in the “heavens” and the “stars” and they ‘came down’ and entrusted knowledge and civilization to people. And it seems interesting that every culture would have this as their basis and for their religious mysticism. It’s even found in the Judeo-Christian tradition, but its down-played in what we are offered of it or in many cases even removed, which has happened in the last thousands of years.

All of this allowed me to explore this at a more academic and intellectual level, because that’s what I am about. Immediately when I start talking to people, other people, friends of mine, even at a very young age, what I had to say seem to attract a lot of interest and so I started to explore it individually on my own, yet at the same time it often made me an outcast from a lot of the groups and organizations I was involved in at the time; because I was constantly looking for something outside the box. I mean, even with getting out of the box of the framework I was raised to, it seemed I was simply falling into one more enclosure.

It seems the way the order works in this world, its almost designed so that anyone who questions, it seems easy to simply label as ‘crazy’.

(06:20)

Royce: Right.

Joshua: That being the way it is, for some reason ‘your’ the one that has the issue for not seeing it the way everyone else does. So, the “Ancient Aliens Theory”, that is kind of a semantic that has become popular now. It’s not really a ‘new idea’, but in terms of the vocabulary used to describe it – its reflective of whats more popular in our generation that has been raised on Star Wars and this science-fiction methodology. And it’s not to say that its fake, but our newer way of breaking it down allows for our generation to better understand it, just as our ancestors were left to their knowledge of technology and what they knew of mysticism and spirituality in order to understand things.

Its like necessary for our evolution to have a clear understanding of where things came from. The term “Alien” – well, we can apply that to almost any phenomenon depending on what kind of definition you want to apply to that in terms of language. For example, you have the ‘spaceship’ kind of extra-terrestrial that comes from a physical planet or a physical star-system that travels physically and materially in bodies that we can interact with, all in the way that we would normally understand things today.

WIZARDRY | Magician’s Primer, Merlyn’s School of Magick & Witchcraft explored!

Sunday, November 6th, 2011

Best known for the publication of the “Sorcerer’s Handbook of Merlyn Stone” in 1998 (also available separately in its 13th Anniversary edition), several other less circulated underground publications were also released by the teenage prodigy, “Merlyn Stone” before disappearing from the occult scene in 2001.

WIZARDRY includes not only the original cult classic “Sorcerer’ s Handbook of Merlyn Stone“, a work that has seen thousands of copies reaching circulation, but also “The Lost Books of Merlyn Stone“, returning attention to the original and rare in-house productions created for the Mystics of the Earth, Draconis Celtic Lodge of Druids, Elven Fellowship Circle of Magick and Order of the Crystal Dawn during the pre-Mardukite 1990′s.

“What has the “New Age,” the age of “enlightenment” become? Where is the true enlightenment? Where are the “no-nonsense” books for those who wish to live a mystical life of selfhonest enchanted enlightenment? Even the New Age has become blind and led astray from its true purpose. Much of the work of the noble wizard has become the “work” of fools seeking power, curses, and other things that will get you no where spiritually. Many well known new age authors now “fluff up” their newest release to appeal to the lonely house wife, the disturbed teenager, and many others who would use these things as a way to fix their problems, but not receive any enlightenment in the process. They see what many call “magick” as a way to make their lives easier so they don’t have to do the work, and the problem is so many of these books advertise themselves in that way! Where is the enlightenment, where is the self honesty, where is the true magick?” ~ James Thomas (from the Preface to Wizardry).

“I began my magickal education while attending college. Little then did I realize, so was a young boy who would later write the volume you now hold. My first brush with the enigmatic Merlyn Stone came almost a decade after I began my own magickal career. Looking through a catalog one day I spotted the ad for his debut work, The Sorcerer’s Handbook. The ad spoke about how the book “told it all without all the usual occult jargon.” That was its biggest selling point for me, so I bought it. I was pleasantly surprised when my copy arrived. Not only did it fulfill my expectations – it surpassed them. The Sorcerer’s Handbook presented many facets of occult knowledge in plain, easy to understand, language. Best of all though, it made magick practical for even the newest student.” ~ Myrddin Wolfe (from the Foreword to Wizardry).

“Man has certainly been engulfed with information in his “age of enlightenment,” but what practical work comes from all this knowledge? What I have accomplished alone and with the assistance of others in my short life thus far has already superseded those who have been content in only knowing the magickal theories and the concepts of metaphysics. These “bookshelf sorcerer’s” have never known magick – never felt its power running through their veins. They were content to just talk about it. . .and I was not. Magick is NOT a bi-monthly newsletter, a fancy society or organization or a weekly class. It is life itself and all that makes up existence. Every person in this world faces the building blocks of magick each day. The “sorcerer” (a term chosen for the operators of the present text of either gender) attains an upper hand because they can recognize the patterns and acknowledge these facets as they truly are, using them to manifest the world desired.” ~ Joshua Free (from the Introduction to Wizardry).

For centuries, the realm of magick has been sought, and finally what the world awaited for has arrived; a book that tells it all without the unnecessary occult jargon allowing for the quickest personal results in training and development. Just a few of the many topics explored are ritual spellcraft, candle magick, ceremonial high magick, tarot divination, the magick of the Golden Dawn, the complete Enochian arts and yes, even the Necronomicon!

With the reappearance of “Merlyn Stone” as Joshua Free, the Nabu of the modern “Mardukite” Anunnaki movement, there has been a resurgence of interest into the previous and ‘forgotten’ works that have led up to the now prolific literary career! This innovative experimental work from a young teenager did not reach the surface world in other forms and includes secret rites of initiation and methods of apprenticeship, illuminati magick and the practical use of energy in ways not typically observed in the conventional “New Age.”

Now you can master the powers of magick with a practical training program that has changed the world, launching hundreds of traditions in over a decade!

Don’t forget to visit us on FACEBOOK, and ‘contact us’ to join the FORUM — Current Facebook pages for DRACONOMICON and the DELOMELANICON also appear. A NEW facebook page has also been created for Liber-M, titled MAQLU MAGIC !!!
