"Necronomicon Anunnaki Bible: The Babylonian Mardukite Tradition" (Fifth Edition - Revised & Expanded) by Joshua Free

“Since my involvement with the “Mardukites” in 2008, I have tried not to over-emphasize the Simon Necronomicon and have instead preferred to remain silent on many of the issues related directly to it. Although it would have been impossible to release our current “Necronomicon Anunnaki Legacy” archive of materials without making some references and comparisons to the Simon books, it was not our starting point and not at all our own basis in developing what we have.” [Excerpted from Liber-555]

[Pictured at left: "Necronomicon Anunnaki Bible: The Babylonian Mardukite Tradition" (Fifth Edition - Revised & Expanded) by Joshua Free.]

“Many people have already confused our own work with being a ‘rehash’ or ‘supporting companion’ to the “Simonian” books without even realizing what we are exactly presenting here – and I have done my best to avoid confusion by relating the historical Anunnaki and Sumerian or Babylonian legacy independently of what was alluded to in the Simon Necronomicon.”

"Stargate to the Abyss: The Mardukite Guide to the Simon Necronomicon" (Liber 555) by Joshua Free

“Unlike many of my predecessors in the occult fields of literature, my emphasis is not on the ‘luciferian darkness’ alluded to in what has become interpreted as ‘left-hand paths’ and other alternative modes of incorporating the Lovecraftian lore. It is on Babylon.” [Joshua Free, in "Stargate to the Abyss: The Mardukite Guide to the Simon Necronomicon" (Liber 555), also available as "The Necronomicon for Beginners" (Liber-555).]

“References to the Simon Necronomicon are made in the places throughout the “Mardukite” archive when they proved necessary or critically worthy of mention, it was really only “Liber-R” (released as “Necronomicon Revelations“) that gave direct attention to the Simon work at all. Where many people thought that our attempts were simply the ‘rehash’ of Simon, it never occurred to them that there might be some kind of unifying source of inspiration to do this type of work or even have the Anunnaki as a focus at all – then alone the “Mardukite” vision of the Anunnaki tradition that was nationally held in ancient Babylon.” [Liber-555]

"Sumerian Religion: Secrets of the Anunnaki & The Origins of Babylon" by Joshua Free (Revised & Expanded Second Edition)

When the sculptures and huge, dramatic bas-reliefs from Babylon and Nineveh, uncovered by the excavations of Layard and Rawlinson in the mid-19th century, began to arrive in Europe, the people were enthralled but they were also fickle. The greater accessibility of Egypt, and the sheer quantity of the material excavated and exported, pushed Babylon and Assyria into the background, and the civilizations of the Tigris and the Euphrates began to be perceived as colorless and dull, even by esotericists.
~ R.A. Gilbert
Foreword to L.W. King’s
Babylonian Magic & Sorcery (2000 Edition)

“Mystics of every age have gone forth explaining an almost quantum vision of reality and existence, interconnected – All-as-One. While this might seem a truly obscure and anomalistic message approach to crossing the threshold of the current ‘academic’ topic; it is not. Consider for a moment that our mythic past is very much rooted in truth – one that has simply been conveniently, or forcefully, forgotten among mass awareness. Politics and the general human condition have, throughout the ages, taken its toll on the accounts of said truth, as we will see quite evidently concerning the history of the geographic region known as Mesopotamia.” This blog is excerpted from the introduction that first appeared in “Babylonian Myth & Magic” (Liber 51) and is reprinted in the (Liber 50+51+R) “Gates of the Necronomicon” anthology edited by Joshua Free. It has recently been included — in its entirety — in the new revised and expanded (Liber 50) second edition of “Sumerian Religion: Secrets of the Anunnaki & The Origins of Babylon“.

"Gates of the Necronomicon: A Guide to the Babylonian Anunnaki Mardukite Tradition" by Joshua Free (Liber 50, 51, R anthology)

“Humans, being mortal, are unaware of one critical aspect of the universe – one that they could not possibly be privy to given their interaction with reality based on limited perceptions and experiences schematized by semantic labeling – is that truth is actually unchanging. In spite of the best (or worst) efforts in human history, the truth has survived to remind us of our origins, to instruct us on where we have to go and perhaps, most importantly, the standards we should live by to get there. Its mere survival is not enough, however, for as the world was once plummeted into a Dark Age only to be reincarnated as an Age of Enlightenment, the truth did not appear in public consciousness recognizable as such – in fact, it went the other direction: underground and the vaults of obscure ‘occult’ factions.” (Joshua Free)

“Unfortunately, the original and intended meaning of the symbolism, used to preserve the integrity of mysteries, became as confounded and obscure to these practitioners and ‘magicians’ as the nature of their own organizations. What’s more: they convinced themselves that they did have true comprehension of it – and so, eventually, the politics of the surface world became no less existent in the underground.” (Joshua Free)

"Babylonian Myth & Magic" by Joshua Free (Liber 51)

“The meaning and innate desire to pursue truth, particularly what has been known as the Secret of the Ages, is no less obvious in the realm of science and academia then it is in the world of the occultist. Those who have been dubbed ‘esotericists’ are not the only ones who are interested in these matters, nor are they even the original ones. Only the methodologies and intentions differ. And yet again – all is connected. Without the intellectual and scholarly pursuits by historians and academicians, we might have far fewer clues toward this ‘mental image’ reconstruction of the past. Where then would the truth seeker have to draw his inspiration? From the fanciful recollections of distorted fairy-tales available to the surface world? Certainly, not.” (Joshua Free)

“The recovery of the truth of mankind’s past is paramount to the fate of humanity’s future. Thus, it should could by no surprise that the geographic terrain of its origins has been the victim of unyielding war and suffering for thousands of years – further enshrouding those unveiling efforts with a measure of hesitation and doubt painted by political opinions of the modern Middle East, and for our purposes, what the academicians have called the Ancient Near East…” (Joshua Free)

Secrets of LHP, Satanism and other Ridiculous quasi-Christian ‘chaos pagan’ Traditions

Thursday, March 29th, 2012

"Arcanum Epica III: The Secrets of the Universe" by Joshua Free (also available with volumes I and II in "A Complete Course Curriculum in Magick")

We’ve all run into them. Maybe you’re one of them right now. New Agers and quasi-pagans who hail the “left-hand path“, “chaos” and/or some form of ‘Satanism‘. Classified by a certain anti-authoritarian mentality, dark overtones and just about anything that will allow a ‘break from the norm’, these folk are living a ‘reactive’ tradition that accomplishes the opposite of what it has set out to do. By separating from the ‘norm’ in a way that is based on the ‘definitions’ of the norm, the methodology is wholly stagnate – a stalemate toward paths of any real self-honest, unconditioned, non-filtered awareness of wholeness, ascension, transcendence or enlightenment. Am I being too harsh? Not at all — for they feed on such statements anyways — those that in turn fuel their own hatred of ‘normalcy’… Yes, you folk are indeed your own brand of PAGAN that you have worked so hard to separate from ‘ours’ — People Against Goodness And Normality (to reference the classic 80′s movie, Dragnet).

“Satanism is an obscure “left-hand path” intentionally shrouded in darkness as to remain nonconforming and outside of the mainstream. from the Hermetic mysteries, specifically those maintained by the Cathars and Templars, as well as the Thelemic system of Aleister Crowley, all of which have been accused of ‘devil-worship‘ by cowans.” (Excerpted from Arcanum Epica III or “A Complete Course Curriculum in Magick” by Joshua Free).

"A Complete Course Curriculum in Magick: Systems of Reality, The Universe & Everything" by Joshua Free (also known as "Arcanum")

The problem with LHP (left-hand path), contemporary ‘Satanism‘ and its other cousin traditions is that they are not realized with self-honesty in any way, shape or form. They are all dependent on being the anti-thesis to ‘Christianity’ — the existence of the ‘Christian’ “devil” or “Satan“, regardless of where these concepts may have originated in a ‘pre-Christian’ traditions. In spite of the misconceptions applied… “Ancient, medieval and revivalist ‘Luciferians,’ ‘Children of Set,’ ‘Satanists,’ etc., all use the privacy of membership (initiation) to indulge in personal pleasures, hedonism (under ‘will‘), but they do not actually ‘worship‘ the Devil…” though in order to adopt the name and concept, it, much like all the Medieval Grimoires and Kabbalistic Magick — and even the ‘Black Mass’ — are all reactive employments that are dependent on the ‘Judeo-Chrsitian’ paradigm for them to have any substance, the same paradigm these folk are allegedly ‘avoiding’ or the ‘anti-thesis’ of — still they feed the ‘concept’ and ‘paradigm’ by participating at all! Disagreement, countering or being the anti-thesis are all still fragmentations of an existing ‘thinker-prover’ dichotomy that is within the paradigm, simply reacting against.

People are quick to assume that since the Mardukites have publicly worked under the guise of the ‘Necronomicon‘ that it is somehow representative of LHP and Satanism — further, there is the common belief that the paradigm-realm of the Sumerians and Babylonians is somehow ‘dark’ or ‘gothic’ in nature as compared to present-day (or contemporary) ideals, even those considered ‘New Age’. Keep in mind that at the time of the Enlilite Sumerians, there was no word for “religion”, only “life”. There was no question of ‘gods’ or polar-dualism of the original (archetypal) pantheon. All of this came much later, particularly after the initial Babylonian fragmentation of the earlier (Enlilite) idea, under the guise of “Mardukite Monotheism” (which is a misnomer in itself). The systems used to fragment the life-wholeness into factions was repeated endlessly over the last several thousand years, resulting in an infinitude of diverse methodologies, all of which are duplications from the original.

THE REAL TRUTH ABOUT MODERN SATANISM
by Joshua Free

Excerpted from Arcanum Epica III or
A Complete Course Curriculum in Magick

“Contemporary Satanism emerged on Beltane in 1966 by Anton Szandor LaVey (born: Howard Stanton Levey) who founded the ‘Church of Satan‘ (COS) in San Francisco, California (the organization has actually seen astounding underground membership by prestigious personalities, from Marilyn Monroe to Marilyn Manson!). LaVey, a carney, lion-tamer and eventually the ‘Black Pope‘ of COS, avidly participated in the establishment of the New Age Movement, albeit from an underground self-professed ‘left-wing‘ or ‘left-hand‘ paradigm.

He gave the name of ‘Satanism‘ to his metaphysical tradition because of the blatant hatred he had for established Christian organizations (the Churches more so than Jesus himself). The famous Baphomet logo was taken from the Templars (the Church’s own Gnostic Army that were later condemned as ‘Satanists‘ during the Crusades). LaVey made the ‘Sign of the Horns‘ ceremonially famous, a gesture now ignorantly used by millions of concert-going teenagers. Nearly one million copies of his “Satanic Bible” (1969) and “Satanic Rituals” (1972) have been sold.”

"Gates of the Necronomicon: The Babylonian Anunnaki Mardukite Tradition" by Joshua Free (The 2010 Year-2 Mardukite Chamberlains Anthology including "Sumerian Religion", "Babylonian Myth & Magic" and "Necronomicon Revelations")

“What separates the mysticism of Anton LaVey’s Satanism from the more ‘love-and-light-embracing‘ right-wing paths of magick? In a pragmatic functional sense: very little. The same rules apply to the use of will and visualization, including the use of ritual concentration, objects of focus and catalysts (e.g. poppets) of sympathetic magick. LaVey even goes as far as to employ the Enochian Keys out of context (notoriously dangerous work for a magician). Although titled “Satanic Rituals,” his second book actually defines a distinction between “rituals” and “ceremonies” (and, of course, the book contains both).

A ritual, according to LaVey, is a working directed toward a specific goal or manifestation (as is found in spellcraft). Ceremonies, on the other hand, have no specific magickal context, such as the observation of seasonal sabbats, a handfasting rite or to pay respect to a deity. The primary difference between Satanism and the more mainstream New Age traditions is not about how the work is done but rather the ethical use of intention and will.” (Excerpted from Arcanum Epica III or “A Complete Course Curriculum in Magick” by Joshua Free).

THE NUTS & BOLTS… The use of “Satanism” to present a philosophical anti-thesis to an agreeably funked world is fine for every third Friday night (Hellfire Club, etc.) but the current student should not embrace this as a full-time lifestyle. Allegedly, LaVey had so much of this type of energy with him that the simple act of cutting a picture of someone during emotional conditions could effectively transfer curses (and while most curses are recipient-powered, LaVey definitely knew how to throw his energy). After many years of heart-problems (common with the channeling or targeting of ‘negative currents’ and either side of ‘psychic vampyrism’), LaVey died in 1997 (at the age of 67) on Samhain eve.

GATES OF THE NECRONOMICON (Year-2 Anthology):
An Advanced Guide to the Babylonian Anunnaki Mardukite Tradition

Authored by Joshua Free
Illustrated by Jessica Brooks
Commentaries by Sortileges
Introduction by Sarah Banas

The Necronomicon… Sumerians… Star-Gates of Babylon… The Anunnaki… Ancient Alien Gods… Origins of Human Systems…

These are just a few topics of interest to those who pursue the prolific writings of Joshua Free. Originally published in three installments — “Sumerian Religion” (Liber-50), “Babylonian Myth & Magic” (Liber-51) and “Necronomicon Revelations: The Nine Gates of the Kingdom of Shadows” (Liber R) — (the three titles are also available individually) now the complete research and development conducted by the Mardukite Chamberlains during their second active year in 2010, is available in one volume: “Gates of the Necronomicon” (newly revised in February 2012) the definitive companion to the original ‘first year’ Mardukite anthology source book, the underground bestseller: “Necronomicon – Anunnaki Bible.

"Sumerian Religion: Secrets of the Anunnaki" (Liber 50) by Joshua Free, Also available in the "Gates of the Necronomicon" Anthology

Sumerian Religion. . . The most critically acclaimed materials from the Mardukite Research Organization – Arriving on the surface world from the underground – an amazing insight into the Anunnaki ‘alien gods’ famously accounted by the Sumerian and Babylonian traditions. Prolific writer, Joshua Free, presents this topic such as the modern world has never before had access to, developed from the work conducted by the next generation of Seekers actively using a revival Anunnaki tradition in the present day.

Sumerian Religion: Secrets of the Anunnaki is not merely the presentation of dry academic renderings of obscure tablets; Sumerian Religion will take you on a progressive journey that is just as relevant and critical today as it was thousands of years ago! Sumerian Religion is the perfect practical companion to the study and practice of any and all systems as it displays the primordial origins of human traditions on the planet, a fundamental truth that all can benefit from. Originally designed and released exclusively underground for the Mardukite Chamberlains, this amazing tome stands alone – unique as it is practical – revealing the nature, origins and traditions of the the Anunnaki Alien Gods of Mesopotamia (Sumerian, Babylonian, Akkadian, Chaldean, Assyrian, etc.), which the public has previously only known through nearly insubstantial communications.

"Babylonian Myth & Magic" (Liber-51) by Joshua Free, also available in the "Gates of the Necronomicon" anthology.

After spending nearly two decades in the underground, prolific writer and founder of the Mardukite Movement, Joshua Free, reflects on the core archaeological, anthropological and mystical points of Babylonian Myth & Magic in history and practice. This amazingly informative introduction to these topics not only provides evidence for the basis of a modern revival, but proves just how relevant the pursuit of these mysteries really are.

Babylonian Myth & Magic is unparalleled in displaying the post-Sumerian mystery tradition of the ancient Babylonians, now accessibly comprehensible to any seeker for the first time in modern history. Revealed within are the very methods by which Babylon rose to power from seemingly prehistoric nothingness and how these very real systems born in the Ancient Near East are still with us today! This highly innovative work drives the emphasis home that memory of past and future are one, and uncovering the truth of yesterday will provide a stronger tomorrow!

"Necronomicon Revelations" (Liber R) by Joshua Free, also available in the "Gates of the Necronomicon" anthology.

Uncover the the real truth about what some call the Necronomicon and the true ‘alien forces’ behind the occult, existing in the shadows of reality for the entire history of humanity. Here is the final volume of the underground Mardukite ‘Anunnaki Necronomicon’ cycle. After nearly two decades involved with this work, prolific writer and founder of Mardukite Ministries, Joshua Free, candidly reveals how these ‘spiritual beings’ have influenced the imaginations of ‘metaphysical’ writers and artists increasingly in the last century – ‘primordial gods’ seeking to have their stories told or reborn. What’s more, these powers appear to be behind all of the systems installed into human civilization, both social and mystical, since the Sumerians.

Now, at the cusp of a ‘New Age’, the mysterious development of “Simon’s” infamous edition, haunting narratives of H.P. Lovecraft, Thelemic work of Aleister Crowley, otherworldly communications by Kenneth Grant, the Nine Gates of the Kingdom of Shadows, a resurgence of interest into ‘ancient aliens’, and mainstream Cthulhu Mythos revivals by Enochian magicians like Donald Tyson all seem to be pointing toward something – some inevitable theme setting the stage for the destiny of mankind for the approaching era, uncovering the most dangerous truth about life, the universe and everything: The Great Deception of a systematic light-matrix reality under the control of the Anunnaki – the real otherworldly Gatekeepers of Life, Death & Existence.

Truth About the Black Mass | Arcanum Annals, Luciferian, Left-handed Anunnaki Interpretations

Monday, February 13th, 2012

The Truth About the “Black Mass”, one of the esoteric occult world’s greatest kept secrets, full of deception and hype, is just one of the many facets explored in the Arcanum notebooks of Joshua Free — Available as the Arcanum Epica trilogy or in the combined anthology A Complete Course Curriculum in Magick.

“The Black Mass is an obscure rite emerging from French occultism during the Dark Ages, particularly the period of the Crusades. Although commonly associated with Satanism, suppressed Hermeticists like the Gnostics and Templars have used some versions of this ritual. It parodies the Catholic Mass and was originally performed by a real member of the clergy. Rather than being an actual mystical working of evil, the Black Mass is a psychologically dramatic means of a practical (perhaps misguided) antithesis or remedy to the Church during the Elven Holocaust. Some versions of the Black Mass still exist today, though other scholars suggest that the ritual text is simply the Catholic Mass spoken backwards.” (From Arcanum Epica I or A Complete Course Curriculum in Magick by Joshua Free)

“The most famous use of the Black Mass occurred during the 17th Century as overseen by a witch named Catherine Deshayes Monvoisin (better known as LaVoisin). LaVoisin was a fortune-teller and abortionist who employed Catholic priests (including the documented Abbe Bourgeois and Etienne Bourgeois) to add a new dimension of mystical authenticity to her rites. Since the commonly used version of the Black Mass is derived from the “Rituale Romanum,” a connection to a clerical origin of the rite has been suspected. We can be less certain of what texts were used by the Cathars and Templars, and whether or not they were so diabolical.” (Liber-A)

“The color theme of the Black Mass is obviously black, with a sub-ordinate emphasis on purple and sometimes red. The candles are black as are the robes and altar-dressings. A mattress is placed under the cloth since a nude female usually serves as the altar. She lies down with arms outstretched (sometimes holding candles in her hands). Her legs are spread and the chalice (or an inverted cross) is placed between them filled with liquor. According to rumor, sacrifices were prominent. Legend has it that LaVoisin used aborted fetuses as offerings. All of this is speculative.” (From Arcanum Epica I or A Complete Course Curriculum in Magick by Joshua Free)

“While formalized ritual texts labeled “Black Mass” or “Le Messe Noir” exist, many believe that much less formal gatherings ensued for the purposes of indulging in hard drugs and sexual gratification. The famous stories of “ritual abuse” occurred with children who were raised in such environments, or worse, forced to participate. The driving purpose behind the more formal operations mirror that of common spellcraft and have no ceremonial or high magickal value. Any “invocations to a devil” are purely for the benefit of the psyche and possess no other power except that which is normal to polarized vibrations of thought and speech directed via visualization. However, the incorporation of an ordained Catholic priest may add a more significant power to the workings.” (Liber-A)

“Many Christian denominations exist today, all being protestant faiths. This means all of them split or protested against the Catholic Church. In spite of the grim history of the Church during its rise, it remains the original mainstream Christian faith with an emphasis on ceremonial magick, high magickal mysticism and Rites of Pass-age (sacraments) complete with relics, talismans and evocations of the saints. In fact the exorcism (dealing with the Devil) and demonic possession are matters only significant in Catholicism. Without the incorporation of the power and wealth of the Roman Empire via the alleged “donation of Constantine,” the religion would have probably remained one of many pan-European cults.” (From Arcanum Epica I or A Complete Course Curriculum in Magick by Joshua Free)

“The following ritual excerpt is based on the version employed by the French “Luciferians” in the late 19th Century. It is a corruption of the Latin liturgy employed by the Catholic Church. The complete version calls on infernal names of “Satan” borrowed today by practitioners of a left-hand path: Abaddon, Asmodeus, Astaroth (Ishtar), Baalberith, Beelzebub, Belial (Enlil) and Lucifer (Enki).” (Liber-A)

The priest begins: “In nominee Magni Dei Nostril Satanas. Intoibo ad altare Domine Inferi.” The deacon or assistance answers: “Ad eum qui laefificat meum.” The priest continues: “Adjutorium nostrum in nomine Domini Inferi.” The deacon responds: “Qui regit terram.” After declaring Satan (or an appropriate name) as Ruler of the Earth and pledging a promise of service (or continuing service) the priest says: “Domine Satanas, tu conversus vivificabis nos.” The deacon answers: “Et plebs tua laetabitur in te.” The priest continues: “Dominus Inferus vobiscum.” Answered by: “Et cum tuo.” The rite continues in this fashion for the entire length of the Latin Mass.

The Truth Behind the Legend…

STARGATE TO THE ABYSS:
The Mardukite Guide to the Simon Necronomicon

Authored by Joshua Free

Since being released in 1977 — the same year that the world saw the arrival of “Star Wars”, the “Shannara” series of Terry Brooks, “Close Encounters of the Third Kind”, the debut by Zecharia Sitchin and many other consciousness paradigm-shifts — the Necronomicon by Simon has changed the shape of the modern “New Age” movement and human understanding, introducing over a million people of the new generations to the reality of the Anunnaki traditions born from ancient Sumerians, Babylonians, Akkadians, Assyrians and Chaldeans.

Shrouded in doom and gloom, contrasted against the “Cthulhu Mythos” envisioned by H.P. Lovecraft, who very well may have developed the title — Necronomicon — for his own saga and literary cycle, the book presented by editor Simon is anything but a fabrication of fantasy, but is instead an allusion to a very real, though fragmented, “Mardukite” Babylonian Anunnaki Tradition, a system that once dominated the prehistoric and ancient world before the rise of the Greeks, Romans and even Egyptians!

The modern “Mardukite” research organization has spent nearly half a decade exploring the mysteries of Mesopotamia, the Anunnaki and related subjects. After having completed the entire ‘Necronomicon Anunnaki’ literary legacy with the Mardukite Chamberlains, prolific writer, editor and founder of the “Mardukites”, Joshua Free, ends his years of silence concerning the Simon Necronomicon by finally providing his expert commentary on the classic text in Liber 555, “Crossing to the Abyss: The Mardukite Guide to the Simon Necronomicon“.

Edition note: This “Liber 555″ material is simultaneously being released in a condensed format edition as “The Necronomicon for Beginners” by Joshua Free. Available February 2012 at mardukite.com.
