Motivation & Magick | Mardukite Council of Nabu Anunnaki Archives

Wednesday, February 15th, 2012
[At times, many of our directors and ministers have been called upon to assist readers, members and seminarians in their path and studies.]

J.R. (Mardukite Student) June 16, 2010 at 3:00am:
I am writing this with the hope of getting some of my motivation back. It seems that i have lost it (or some of it at least). The work I have been doing lately has consisted of meditations, the qabalistic cross rite, and LBRP. it has worked well so far, I think, but I am not getting as much from it anymore as i used to. I have begun to doubt what i am doing and therefore I am beginning to loose motivation. I’ve been reading a lot of different stuff lately, most the mystical qabbalah. I think my biggest problem is that I feel alone on this venture of mine. I know you’re supposed to handle it yourself but a mentor of some sort would have been nice or maybe a kick in the butt somewhere.

Hybride (Mardukite Council Admin) June 16, 2010 at 7:17am:
You’re never alone. Yes, it may feel that way, but it’s not ever that way. Can it be that you’ve learned what you had to, and that’s why you’re no longer getting as much as you used to? Why are you so hard on yourself? What are you trying to achieve? And why are you trying to achieve it? What kind of meditations are you doing, and how long? Maybe it’s not even the meditations that you are doing that’s wrong, it’s the intent behind it that is screwing you up. It’s better to stop than to force something to happen.

J.R. June 16, 2010 at 7:35am:
Well I meant that i feel lonely in this because I cant really count on any support from my environment; at least not the closest of them. Concerning the meditations and such, I have been following a three month project of sorts, but I cant really say that I have thought of achieving anything else than simply the focusing of my mind and improving visualization – which i have improved to some degree at least. The same goals go for meditation, mind and visualization. I guess I haven’t really thought of the intent behind it except I want to find out if there is something else I have yet to discover, or something like that.

Hybride June 16, 2010 at 7:50am:
Why can’t you count on your closest surroundings? – the question becomes, do you even want to? Some things take time, and some visualize and focus easier than others. Is it truly a project, a scientific endeavor to find out “can I do it?” Or is this trying to validate something (I know you said you want to discover something, but you never mention what)? Without a well-thought out intent, does it matter if it’s improvement or just “to know”? Without a well-thought out intent, you’ll never get far, always at a stand still. You’ll have to figure out the WHY you are doing this, first and foremost. As with every spell, meditation, or visualization, anything in general, if there is no WHY, then just stop doing whatever it is you’re doing until you figure out why or it will backfire. If there is no good reason, then you’re not doing what you’re supposed to be.

J.R. June 16, 2010 at 8:11am:
Magic has always been the goal for me, but since I am fairly new to it I really don’t know what magic is. I have read about other peoples perception of it, but I haven’t really experienced anything myself yet. My reason for it well… ain’t wanting to experience it good enough for starters? I certainly don’t have anything like world domination or such in mind… Do you maybe have anything to recommend regarding intent?

Hybride June 16, 2010 at 8:20am:
Well, what is magick? What do you think magick is? Magick is experienced differently by everyone; you won’t always get the same reaction from two people. So I can’t tell you what really magick is, because it may be a different experience from what you have or may possibly have. I might be able to tell you what it’s not, but that’s subjective as well. And if you’re answering my question with another question, then you still have to figure out what it is you want to do. Magick doesn’t have to be for world domination. It could be a breathing exercise done for 30 seconds before you go to bed for one; another does 5 hours of meditations; another just looks around what’s outside and sees magick. It’s up to YOU to define what it is, and don’t allow others to hinder with what their thoughts are. There is no right or wrong answer.

As far as your surroundings go, we’ve all been there. Many of us have/had somewhat religious fanatical parents (speaking from experience), so reaching out would be detrimental to our evolution and our health. There are many “solitary practitioners” around. You have to make the decision whether or not you want to go out and “shout to the world” what you are or what you’re doing; or, you can stay in the comforts of your home and no one has to know. That’s a personal decision you have to make for yourself.
For intent, I can’t tell you either how to do it. That’s something you feel within yourself. When I started “practicing” (which is by no means conventional), I decided that the actual magick practicing (casting spells, etc), didn’t mean anything to me (it may for others, wasn’t my cup of tea). My intent was to learn the Truth, and that no matter what happened to me, I needed to find the Truth out. That’s what I did, that’s been my motto to this day. It wasn’t just really out of the blue that I decided that. It took me a very long time to get to that point, so don’t worry if you feel yourself not progressing fast enough. Patience!

J.R. June 16, 2010 at 8:39am:
Magic, I guess, for me its not about throwing fireballs or lightning, tough it would be very cool. For now I would say its about energy of sorts my personal and external, and making use of that energy in various ways. I remember that when I was little, I was playing Yahtzee, a dice game, and i recall that if I focused enough I could very often get the results I wanted. I would say just wanting it hard enough made it possible, and now I think that its connected somehow to magic. Visualizing what I wanted in my at that time pure mind (free from distractions) made it possible. So i think in some way its connected with mind exercises, that’s why I think I’m on the right track. Ever since I was very little i have found that anything at all related to the word magic have been something that has peeked my curiosity.

Hybride June 16, 2010 at 9:15am:
Perhaps rather than trying to figure out how to connect to it with this method or that method, just open yourself up to that connection? What I mean is, you can do millions of exercises and thousands of years have gone by without a single result. From what am reading you have the intent without the connection. Just let yourself go. When you sit there just *feel* all of that energy going through you and around you – that it is you. Every sensation, completely open yourself up to it. Give in to magick, the idea of, the love of, the existence of magick. Look at magick with the same adoration and curiosity you had as a child: a child knows; it’s the adult’s ego that blinds them from finding it. Become a child for magick again. (It’s a highly romantic ideal but try it!)

J.R. June 16, 2010 at 9:41am:
Wow. I got shivers reading that last part. I have been thinking like that trying to connect by the use of various exercises as a means to an end. I have also been trying to do just that, just feel through my whole body feel it flowing through me pulsating with my heartbeat like blood, I have been able to feel just a little joy/excitement but i always “come down” unable to let myself go with it. It seems to me like you have an extraordinary ability of perception you saw things I’ve barely acknowledged to myself. Thanks a lot its been really helpful!

School of Wizardry & Witchcraft, Meditation Breathing Magick Lesson

Friday, January 20th, 2012

Each month, “New Babylon Rising” features an ‘apprenticeship lesson’ composing a cumulative (progressive) curriculum drawn from the work of ‘Merlyn Stone’ (Sorcerer’s Handbook & Lost Books)and the “Arcanum” notebooks. The following lesson is derived from the aforementioned sources as it appears reprinted in New Babylon Rising Issue #3 (March 2012).

New Babylon Rising: Anunnaki, Alien Gods & Spiritual Traditions is a monthly periodical literary journal prepared for publication by Joshua Free and the Mardukite Chamberlains. First launched privately in 2009, the monthly magazine is back and refined for the public as the first regularly produced print magazine dedicated to the Anunnaki, Sumerian & Babylonian mysteries, ancient aliens, magickal revivals, dragon bloodlines and Druidism… all in one! Three issues (#1 January, #2 February and #3 March) have already been produced and released for 2012!

LESSON THREE – BREATH & WILL

Rhythmic breathing is a prerequisite for most magickal work as part of the initial grounding process (not always indicated in an advanced ritual text). This simply becomes second nature to experienced practitioners. Proper breathing is not only important for your physical well-being, it also affects your ability to meditate, relax or energize your body and aura. (Joshua Free reprinted in New Babylon Rising) During deliberate breathing periods, oxygen should be inhaled via the nose and exhaled through the mouth. Breathing solely in and out of the mouth is actually unhealthy because the air is not slowed and warmed through the sinuses.

Any mystical work involving energy (which is practically all of it) is enhanced through proper breathing – which distributes energy through the body. When you breathe in you can feel the energy flowing into your pores and flowing through the body.

[WIZARDRY includes not only the original cult classic "Sorcerer' s Handbook of Merlyn Stone", a work that has seen thousands of copies reaching circulation, but also "The Lost Books of Merlyn Stone", returning attention to the original and rare in-house productions created for the Mystics of the Earth, Draconis Celtic Lodge of Druids, Elven Fellowship Circle of Magick and Order of the Crystal Dawn during the 1990's.]

QUAD-BREATHING
Rhythmic breathing skills come from learning to gauge your breath. As you “count” specific intervals, your breath should be steady and maximized. Completely fill and empty your lungs, holding in between. This can be uncomfortable at first, but eventually it should yield a sensation of mild euphoria (as its amazing what proper breathing can do). One popular method we call “quad-breathing,” counting four seconds or heartbeats for each part of the cycle: breathing in (counting to four), holding (counting to four), exhaling (counting. . .) and holding.

By adding visualization imagery, you can project a conceptualized idea (or polarized energy) in the area around you and then interact with it (e.g. breathing it in or exhaling it into an environment).

It is imperative for a sorcerer to maintain a true sense of self (in self-honesty). The sorcerer must always be in control of the body and mind – must always have control over the actions and thoughts that ensue from said body and mind. This is called true “willpower” or “self-direction.”

[ARCANUM EPICA materials are a revolutionary literary contribution toward the harmonic unification of 'secret knowledge' that has received many 'names' through the ages: magick, occult, esoteric, pseudo-scientific and now, even 'quantum'. In the face of uncertainty, Arcanum Epica prompts people to embrace their intuition in the light of truth.]

Practice at this may require gaining a more awkward routine – pushing yourself to behave in a way you might not normally do. That is to say: don’t allow clocks, schedules and impulsive “desires” to rule your life. When hungry, tired or the like, wait a little while longer. See if you can manipulate these sensations or trans-form them into something else. This is not to say to deprive yourself, but learn to do more than “react.” Learn to actually “act”. This type of training increases one’s control over the body – after all, how can you transcend the physical body if you are bound by it?

PORE-BREATHING
A technique referred to as “pore breathing is an advanced breathing method used in energy work or high magick, especially relating to the rays of light. In this form of deliberate breathing, you are to feel yourself inhaling through all the pores of your body. As your breathe in, you absorb an elemental energy or color (ray) from every surrounding direction, pulling it through your auric shield. When you exhale, release all the impurities of the body out of your pores as well. This process is called “energetic transfusion.” When raising energy you are drawing in external energies and adding your own vibration (via intentions) before releasing the energy into the Universe.

Necronomicon Anunnaki 2012 Age turning point 1977 Simon’s Edition | Nabu Speaks!

Thursday, January 5th, 2012

“As I explained in Necronomicon Revelations, the “Simonian” group that was dealing with what they believed to be some Lovecraftian remnant, was really a work guided by the Spirit of Marduk – of which the group was probably less than aware of at that time. With the coming of the “Danikens” and “Sitchins” it was apparent, at least to myself, that the movement was going to be ready for its launch, even if first only possible in its infancy.” (from Nabu Speaks! The Autobiography of an Alien Messenger)

“For those not familiar with the “Necronomicon” paradigm, there are really two angles to view it from. One is specific to the horror-fantasy writings of H.P. Lovecraft during the early 20th century that pertain to what later writers dubbed the Cthulhu Mythos – and it is a popular methodology used in what is called the “left-hand-path” of spirituality that apparently seeks ‘darker’ overtones to their worldview. This Lovecraftian angle is, however, really only a shadow of what is truly possible in these pursuits for modern seekers, which leads me to describe the the second angle; first used by the “Simon” group in the 1970′s as a medium for relaying the Babylonian Anunnaki revival.” (from Nabu Speaks!)

“Of course, when the Simon Necronomicon arrived on the scene – it was not actually understood for what it was or what it was not. It wasn’t Sumerian, it was Babylonian – and specific to the Mardukite tradition that venerated my father as the ‘king of the gods’, the spirit sought by magicians using the methods of Enki – you would not have found this in a Sumerian work, which would have focused on Enlil, who is practically absent from both the Necronomicon and the “Mardukite” tradition aside from acknowledgment in the ‘Supernal Trinity’. While Marduk, Sarpanit and myself became the archetypal “holy family” in Babylon – we did not attempt to manipulate the base in which the Anunnaki was rooted in as a whole: the Supernal Trinity of Anu, Enlil and Enki.”

“More importantly, the Mardukite tradition that in modern times makes allusions to the Necronomicon – it is always referring to it from the Babylonian Anunnaki perspective as I know it to be. I am, of course, not unfamiliar with the literary works of Lovecraft and have already made my statements publicly concerning possible connections and parallels of the mythology, but again, it is not the Cthulhu Mythos that is my emphasis at all, something which can be confusing to the uninitiated that sees us operating under the Necronomicon banner. I pointedly say this because I have often received correspondence regarding folks reservations about pursuing a path (the Mardukites) that incorporates the semantics or vocabulary: Necronomicon. This is a very important part of the message I bring – in differentiating between the glamours possible in this world and that which makes glamours and worlds possible.”

Best known by his given name and work as Joshua Free, the prolific writer and founder of the modern Mardukite Anunnaki revival movement finally reveals his true nature and identity – as the hybrid alien messenger, NABU – in the much-anticipated public disclosure, “Nabu Speaks! – The Autobiography of an Alien Messenger.

This amazingly unique and historically verifiable first-person narrative explains the struggles and successes of the ancient Nabu tribes, a “Mardukite clan” that sought to famously raise Babylon and Egypt to power by ‘Divine Right’ under MARDUK-RA; the rise and fall of the Sumerian Anunnaki, the creation and disposal of upgraded humans, the birth of societal systems of religion and politics, as well as interpersonal exchanges and feuds that were taking place “behind-the-scenes” among the Anunnaki themselves, those “ancient aliens” who became fixed in human consciousness as gods, angels, demons and spirits.

Following the chronicle of the ancient world, this amazing literary work explores the modern return of NABU to earth during present times, where it seems that human civilization has reached a critical crossroads in its evolution and survival. Challenged by a human existence in the current age, NABU explains the trials and tribulations of refining and correcting the Mardukite fragmentation of human reality, first begun by ancient alien “Anunnaki.” He candidly describes his experiences with modern seekers attracted to the movement in want for a means to achieve their own “spiritual upgrade,” to become ‘self-honest’ and participate in the survival of the next evolution of human life on earth.

Tibetan Book of the Dead & the Anunnaki Necronomicon Tradition

Thursday, December 8th, 2011

The Tibetan Book of the Dead (Bardo Thodol)

“Better known among the “New Age” as the Tibetan Book of the Dead, the spiritual text “Bardo Thodol” is a consolidation of an ancient indigenous ‘oral tradition’ far older than the actual text itself. Bardo Thodol is composed of several individual manuals compiled into one, such as the “Book of Natural Liberations Through the Understanding of the Betweens” among various books of ‘prayers’ using the “Buddhist” cultural-paradigm for interpretation.”

“Though people generally associate such texts with the literal ‘dead’, Bardo Thodol is a guide for the dying, which is to say the living. These pages describe six between states of crossing or threshold gateways, which are listed as:

* LIFE
* DREAM
* TRANCE
* REALITY
* EXISTENCE
* DEATH-POINT

“All of these involve a ‘transformation’ or awakening potential, but only one makes a direct reference to “death”, providing five other avenues that the living can take toward one’s “Natural Liberation”. Using the crossings for true enlightenment requires the operator to free themselves from unnecessary Ego-traps and the mundane illusions of the world that cause stress and distraction – spiritual barriers.”

“Certainly, the physical body may die when the con-sciousness of an identity-program no longer requires or is able to use that ‘vehicle’ to perform necessary work within the physical parameters of existence. Even in our death, however, energy follows with our attention. The psyche or mass of consciousness that is your identity contains imprints and emotional encoding from ‘life’ that will determine the course of the ‘spirit’ (or ‘soul’) as it continues on its evolutionary progression through the ‘fragmented dimensions’ back to the Source.”

“Those experiencing ‘near-death’ crossings often mention ‘memory flashes’ – a point when life experience and significant imprints are essentially ‘uploaded’ in-to the ‘spiritual identity’ proper. Bardo Thodol warns the seeker not to attach themselves to these ‘hallucinations’. They are only a vision entangled to the ‘chain of time’ in which you are still alive (All-as-One) in each of these moments. Do not attach yourself to these moments – “focus on the Clear Light of the Source to fuel your crossing. Ride the Light to ascension.”

MAGICKAL ACORNS, spells, spellcraft, low magick, amulets & talismans | Arcanum Epica (Joshua Free)

ACORNS & MAGICK

(An excerpt from Arcanum Epica I, also available in the anthology: A Complete Course Curriculum in Magick.)

The fruit and seed of the oak tree is a nut used in herbalism and ritual magick. Acorns are traditionally used for fertility, love, and protective purposes. They should always be gathered in daylight hours, preferably at noon. Keep the mystical intention they are going to be used for in mind while collecting them. In ceremonial magick, wands made from oak are often capped with an acorn tip. A pine wand might use a cone for the same effect. Such are excellent for growth magick.

In a divination for love, a couple will each drop an acorn in still water and watch to see how they respond to each other. In a spell to encourage a friend to initiate a romantic interest, seven acorns are placed on a small square of white cloth and tied up with a red cord or ribbon to form an “amulet bag.” After sleeping with it under your pillow for three consecutive nights, bury it beneath a rose bush and call out for the person to come to you. The indigenous shamanic cultures also used acorns as a food, either in nut form or crushed to make “oak flour.” This powdered substance could be made into an antiseptic.
